Ares set to take control of UK insurance services firm Charles Taylor
Direct lender Ares Management is in talks to take control of UK-based insurance services firm Charles Taylor in a debt-for-equity swap, according to market sources. Ares first invested in the company in 2021, when it provided a roughly £395 million financing package to refinance a loan dating to Lovell Minnick Partners’ take-private of the company.
